1. Mandatory equipment

       Full Time Team Equipment
       - compass, pencil,
       - Team First Aid Kit (Non-elastic bandage, Tincture of iodine, Packet adhesive tape, Packet of painkillers & spasmolytics, Warming ointment)
       - Rope 30 m (9-10 mm)
       - Mobile phone
       Biking Personal & Team equipment
       - Mountain bike with front white light & back red strobe light – for each person
       - Bike lock (one) – for all bikes
       - Odometer calibrated in kilometers
       - Bike set for dismantling the bike (including spare bike inner tubes)
       - pump
       Personal equipment
       - Passport or Identify Card
       - Climbing harness, double lanyard (or slings (at least 60 cm)) with 3 locking carabiners & descending device (for example: figure 8, reverso)
       - packets ascending devices (2 ascenders or 1 ascender + prusik)
       - Biking or climbing helmet
       - Pair of rappelling gloves
       - Headlamp or other flash light with batteries
       - Woolen or polar hat
       - Pair of warm (winter) gloves
       - Water- and windproof jacket

       2. Advise equipment.

       The beginning of May in Carpathians is an inter-season period with considerable differences of temperatures, possible snowfalls and night frosts. Most likely, on crests of mountains in height of 1500 metres, and also on northern slopes of ridges will lie snow. Therefore, besides obligatory equipment organizers recommend to take warm clothes and footwear adequate to defined weather conditions, and also:
       - trekking/hiking poles (packable)
       - gaiters
       - snowshoes (depends on snow cover)
       Also recommend:
       - wetsiuts / neoprene suit
       - waterproof bag (for water stage)
       - knife or penknife
       - money (for returning to event-center in a case resign from distance)

       3. Equipment check

       At race registration, there will be a minimum gear inspection in order that the organizers can certify that every team meets the requirements of the race regulations. Climbing equipment must have UIAA certificates. All competitors will submit to mandatory equipment pre-race check. Any failure to meet required mandatory item or refuse to submit to pre-race check will result in disqualification of the entire team. Pre-race check will take place in the base of the race. Usage of equipment not meeting at pre-race check may lead to team disqualification.
       Organizer reserves all rights to check the competitor’s equipment during the race. Any failure will result in disqualification of entire team or time penalized.
